Growing notes
Grows to 0.1-0.5 metres. Space about 10-50cm apart. In flower Jun-Aug.
Toxic to pets
The sap and leaves make skin extremely sensitive to sunlight and can cause sore, blistered skin, in people and in pets; the root is the edible crop. Wear gloves and cover your arms when handling the foliage, especially on sunny days, and wash off any sap at once. If skin blisters, get medical advice; if a pet is affected or eats the foliage, contact a vet.
