Grows to higher than 12 metres. Space about 800+cm apart. In flower Mar-Apr.

Thuja foliage is harmful to people if eaten, and handling it can cause an allergic skin rash, so wear gloves and long sleeves when clipping a hedge and stop children eating the leaves or cones. Get medical advice if a person has swallowed any or if a rash does not settle.
