Toxic to pets
Sweet William can cause an allergic skin reaction, so wear gloves if your skin is sensitive and wash after handling. In dogs and cats, nibbling the plant causes mild stomach upset, and contact can mildly irritate the skin. If your skin reacts badly, get medical advice; if a pet eats it, contact a vet.
