Growing notes

Grows to 0.5-1 metres. Space about 50-100cm apart.

Toxic to pets

The leaves and stems of Scindapsus contain sharp crystals: chewing a leaf gives a person a burning, swollen mouth, and a cat or dog gets burning and swelling of the mouth, tongue and lips, heavy drooling, difficulty swallowing and vomiting. Keep it up high, out of reach of children and pets. Get medical advice if a child has chewed it, and contact a vet if a pet has.
