Toxic to pets

Sago palm is harmful to people if any part of it is eaten and its sap can irritate skin, so keep it away from children and wear gloves when handling it. For cats and dogs it can be dangerous if they eat any part of it. Get medical advice if a person has swallowed any, and contact a vet straight away if a pet has.
