Toxic to pets
The yellow-orange sap that bleeds from cut stems and leaves of plume poppy is poisonous if swallowed and irritates skin and eyes, so wear gloves and keep sap away from your face when cutting it, and do not let children or pets chew any part. Get medical advice if a person has swallowed any, and contact a vet if a pet has.
