Toxic to pets
The stones, leaves and wilting foliage of peach can release cyanide if chewed and are harmful to people and pets; the flesh of the fruit is safe to eat. Do not let children crack or chew the stones, and keep pets from eating fallen leaves and prunings. Get medical advice if a person has swallowed stone kernels or leaves, and contact a vet if a pet has.
