Growing notes

Grows to 0.1-0.5 metres. Space about 10-50cm apart. In flower Mar-Jun.

Toxic to pets

The sap of marsh marigold contains an irritant that can inflame the skin and mouth, so wear gloves when handling it and wash off any sap. In pets it irritates the mouth and stomach, causing drooling and sickness. If your skin reacts badly, get medical advice; if a pet chews the plant, contact a vet.
