Toxic to pets

Marguerite is a daisy relative long sold as a chrysanthemum, and chrysanthemums are a skin allergen: the leaves and sap can irritate skin on handling, so wear gloves when cutting it back and wash your hands afterwards. Dogs, cats and horses that eat the leaves or flowers can be unwell. For a skin reaction get medical advice; if a pet eats it, ring your vet.
