Toxic to pets
Lupin seeds and leaves contain alkaloids: they are harmful to people if eaten and toxic to pets, so eating them can be dangerous, especially in quantity. Don't eat garden lupin seeds and keep seed pods away from children and pets. If a person eats any, get medical advice; if a pet does, contact a vet.
