Toxic to pets
Holly berries are not to be eaten: they contain saponins and can cause vomiting and an upset stomach in people and in dogs and cats. Keep berried cuttings out of reach indoors and clear fallen berries. If a person eats berries, get medical advice; if a pet does, contact a vet.
