Toxic to pets

Chrysanthemums are a skin allergen: handling the leaves and flowers, especially when cutting or deadheading, can give some people a rash, so wear gloves and wash your hands afterwards. Dogs and cats that eat the plant get drooling, diarrhoea and unsteadiness. For a skin reaction get medical advice; if a pet eats it, ring your vet.
