Toxic to pets

The bitter sap just under the leaf skin of partridge aloe is harmful to people if eaten, so treat it like any aloe and keep children from chewing the leaves. A cat or dog that chews a leaf gets vomiting, lethargy and diarrhoea. Get medical advice if a person has swallowed any, and contact a vet if a pet has.
