Toxic to pets

Every part of a foxglove is highly poisonous: it contains cardiac glycosides that affect the heart, and eating it can be dangerous, even life threatening, for people and pets alike. Wear gloves when handling it, never let children put any part in their mouth, and keep pets away. If a person eats any, get medical advice at once; if a pet does, contact a vet immediately.
