Growing notes
Grows to 1.5-2.5 metres. Space about 100-150cm apart. In flower April to June.

This palm is not poisonous, but the leaf stalks carry sharp needle like spines that can give a nasty jab, so keep it away from paths and wear gloves when tidying it.
