Toxic to pets
Delphinium is harmful if eaten, to people and pets: it contains diterpene alkaloids, and eating it causes drooling, stomach upset, muscle tremors and weakness in a dog or cat, with large amounts dangerous. Don't let children put any part in their mouth and stop pets chewing it. If a person eats any, get medical advice; if a pet does, contact a vet.
