Toxic to pets

Cyclamen tubers are ornamental and not for eating: the plant is rated low toxicity for people, but a large amount may cause mild symptoms, and a tuber could choke a small child. Dogs and cats that eat it get drooling, sickness and diarrhoea, and the tubers are by far the most poisonous part. If a child eats a quantity, get medical advice; if a pet eats it, ring your vet.
