Growing notes

Grows to up to 10 cm. Space about 10-50cm apart. In flower Sep-Mar.

Toxic to pets

Cyclamen tubers contain saponins; the trade body rates the plant low toxicity for people, but it is not for eating, so keep the tubers away from children. In pets it causes drooling and sickness, and a large amount of tuber can affect the heart, so keep the plant out of reach. If a person eats a lot, get medical advice; if a pet eats any, contact a vet.
