Toxic to pets
Handling the leaves and flowers of Cota can bring up a skin rash, so wear gloves and wash your hands afterwards; get medical advice if a rash does not settle. If a cat or dog eats the flowers or leaves it can get vomiting, diarrhoea and skin irritation, so contact a vet straight away rather than waiting for signs.
