Growing notes

Grows to higher than 12 metres. Space about 400-800cm apart. In flower Jun-Jul.

Toxic to pets

Climbing hydrangea can cause an allergic skin reaction, so wear gloves when pruning if your skin is sensitive and wash afterwards. For dogs and cats it is harmful if eaten, causing vomiting, diarrhoea and dullness. If your skin reacts badly, get medical advice; if a pet eats it, contact a vet.
