Growing notes

Grows to higher than 12 metres. Space about 800+cm apart. In flower Apr-May.

Toxic to pets

The kernels inside cherry stones and the leaves contain compounds that release cyanide, so they can be harmful to people and pets if chewed and eaten; the fruit flesh is safe. Don't crack and eat the kernels, and keep stones, prunings and fallen leaves away from pets. If a person eats kernels or leaves, get medical advice; if a pet chews them, contact a vet.
