Toxic to pets
Burning bush makes skin react badly to sunlight: touching the plant and then being in the sun can cause a painful, blistering burn on a person, and the same can happen to a pet's skin. Wear gloves and long sleeves to handle it and wash any contact off straight away. Get medical advice if skin blisters, and ring your vet if an animal is affected.
