Grows to 0.1-0.5 metres. In flower Mar-May.

Brimeura is a small bulb once classed as a Scilla, and Scilla is harmful to people if eaten: the bulb is the risk, so never eat it and do not let a child chew any part. Dogs and cats that dig up and eat the bulbs are at the same risk. If a person eats any, get medical advice; if a pet does, ring your vet.
