Toxic to pets

Bog rosemary can be dangerous: every part contains a grayanotoxin and is poisonous to people if eaten, causing watering of the mouth, eyes and nose, vomiting, a slow pulse, low blood pressure, loss of coordination and convulsions, so keep children from chewing it. Dogs and cats are at the same risk. If a person eats any, get medical advice (call the emergency number if they are unwell); if a pet does, ring your vet straight away.
