Toxic to pets
Amaryllis is harmful if eaten, to people and pets, and the bulb is the most poisonous part; it causes vomiting, drooling and stomach pain in dogs and cats. Keep the bulb away from children and pets and never store it with food. If a person eats any, get medical advice; if a pet does, contact a vet.
