Pruning

Wisteria

Wisteria is usually trained high up walls, arches and pergolas, so you will often be working at height. Use a stable, well footed ladder or long reach pruners, do not overreach, and get someone to steady the ladder. Keep secateurs clean and sharp, since every pruning cut is a wound that can let disease in, so make tidy cuts.
