Pruning
Soft fruit (currants, gooseberry, raspberry)
Gooseberries are thorny, so wear stout gloves and eye protection when reaching in. Use clean, sharp tools: every pruning cut is a wound that can let disease in, so a clean cut heals faster and sharp blades reduce the risk.
