Dividing

Dividing a houseplant

This guide’s details are being double-checked, so for now it carries only the safety notes.

Several common houseplants, such as peace lily, dumb cane (dieffenbachia), aloe and dracaena, have sap that irritates skin and mouth and is toxic to people and pets if chewed. Wear gloves, wash your hands, and keep offcuts and divisions out of reach of children and animals.
