Herbaceous perennial clumps

This guide’s details are being double-checked, so for now it carries only the safety notes.

Wear stout gloves and keep tools sharp and under control. Garden soil can carry tetanus, so cover any cut or graze and make sure your tetanus jabs are up to date. A few common perennials, for example euphorbia and hellebore, have irritant sap, so avoid rubbing your eyes and wash your hands afterwards.
