Houseplants
Pet and child safety
Some popular houseplants are poisonous if a pet or child chews or swallows them, for example lily, peace lily, dumb cane (dieffenbachia) and philodendron. Keep any plant marked as toxic well out of reach of pets and young children. If a pet has eaten one, contact a vet straight away; if a child has, get medical advice.
