Hygiene
Cleaning greenhouse glass often means working at height and handling glass that can break, so take care to avoid falls and cuts. Warm water is usually enough for the job, so strong cleaning chemicals are rarely needed; if a diseased crop means you want a disinfectant, follow the product label.

- NHS 111 or seek medical advice
Clear out plant debris and clean the glass, benches and pots between crops, while the space is empty.
Best for
Pest and disease control
Notes
Do it once a year while the greenhouse is empty: winter works if nothing is overwintering in there, otherwise late summer or autumn. Warm water is usually enough.
